Itinerary

Day 1 Welcome and Check INN

  • Airport pickup

 

  • Welcome buffet at a recommended restaurants, here all official introductions and events outline will be read to the client

 

  • Get a forex executive to be part of this orientation so after moneys can be changed (please note, to get value for your money here, exchange rates depend on the kind of $ denomination you present)

 

 

  • There will be a seamstress to be part of this welcome event to take measurements of interested participants who wishes to have Ghanaian dress made for them
  • Check in to your hotel
  • Dinner at the hotel or residence (on your own) – or a recommended restaurant within the city

 

Day 2Accra city tour

  • Visit Dubois Centre and optional  Diasporian offices close by
  • Drive through some principal street of Accra via the presidential drive to have a glimpse of the Jubilee house (Presidential seat build in a Golden Stool form)
  • Visit either the Kwame Nkrumah Museum or the National Museum ( here explanation / notice will be given ahead of time)
  • A walking tour of the Old Accra – James town
  • A walking tour of one of the largest open markets in Ghana – Markola
  • A full historical tour of the Black Star Square aka Independence square and a possible photoshoot
  • shopping at craft and art market
  • Late lunch on this day due to the activities involved at a recommended restaurant
  • Check in to your hotel

Day 3Chocolate factory tour / Safari Valley / water falls

  • Depart Accra after breakfast and head towards Suhum to visit FairAfrique chocolate factory, here participant will have the opportunity to visit a cocoa farm and bean processing center. After we will be taking through a factory plant tour to learn how beans are converted from it bitter state to a chocolate bar. After each person will be going home with gifts of chocolate bars after tasting enough inside the factory

  • Continue our journey to the hills of Aburi to visit Safari Valley Resort Ghana’s first luxury Eco Park Resort sited in the Okere District in the Eastern Region of Ghana with accommodation and Recreation facilities that provide world class services to its guests. Enjoy a nature experience in our creatively designed private cabins with exquisite butler service, full board meals and unlimited in-room amenities only at Safari Valley.

Day 4Half Day Liesure / Cape Coast

  • Depart for Cape Coast after lunch via Accra to state popularly referred to us CITY OF MUSEUMS,
  • Drive past the reconciliation roundabout at Wineba township to have a firsthand information of how this important town played a major role in the formation of the fante confederacy and the setup of Ghana’s first Teachers Training University formerly a Pan-African University plus host of other traditional setups
  • Brief stop at Apam junction for coffee break and use the washroom
  • Our first point of call will be Assin Manso Slave River (the largest slave market during the era of slavery
  • Depart from this village to our lodging in cape coast – Elmina.

Day 5Heritage and fishing port tours

  • Early morning walking tour of Elmina township to get firsthand information of the old city that first came in contact with the European in 1847 and constructed Africa’s first European relic st Georges Castle 
  • We will have the opportunity to visit the fishing port and see how the men return from the sea early in the morning and how business is done by handing over those fresh fish to the women at the market and sell it. Here also we will have an opportunity to visit the main canoe making factory

  • have special traditional dancers to entertain us during dinner at our hotel premises

 

Day 6full day leisure / Night out

  • Early morning departure for Accra after breakfast via the Cape Coast Castle

Day 8Last Day Shopping / Farewell Dinner

  • we have our seamstress coming to deliver the dresses
  • have breakfast and get to see other side of Accra for last day shopping
  • lunch at a recommended restaurant
  • back to the hotel to rest as we prepare for our dinner out (farewell dinner)

Day 9Departure / Airport drop

depending on your flight time, drop off will be communicated to the clients

if its late flight, we will arrange with the hotel for a late check out

we will have to drop you off the airport 2 hours clear off your departure
